Great tips! I do a lot of these already, but there were a few I am looking forward to trying out (like getting cloth napkins instead of buying paper – this will be less waste too) and using dishrags instead of paper towels – genius!
Hi Kimmy,
I switched to cloth napkins at home and it feels so elegant and fun! It’s really fun to buy less, reuse stuff and save money while helping the environment. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate it.
Once I took a full garbage bag of baby clothes that the woman thought were ruined, I soaked them overnight in a stain cleaner and almost every piece came clean.
These are so great!! The one I really need to work on is making a list and sticking to it!! Wow! I do love your ideas about eating dessert at home. The dessert alone can cost $6-10 per person!! Ouch!! Plus, my husband and I will sometimes share a plate. We just ask for an extra plate. Thanks for posting!
Hi Elizabeth,
I am so delighted that you shared your thoughts about living more frugally with me. Sharing dessert saves money as well as calories! Awesome! I hopped by your blog and I love it. I subscribed so I can read your blog posts regularly. All the best, Deborah
