Nature is just so inspiring and you can use elements of it in you every day life. This is especially true if you are looking to make some changes in your home and want to incorporate natural elements.
From house plants to coastal design, nature can inspire your home in so many different wonderful ways.
1. House Plants
When it comes to adding natural touches to your home, there is an easy way to make your home feel greener. By adding house plants, you can easily incorporate more of a fresh feeling to most spaces in your house.
This is ideal for houses that don’t have a garden or houses that are in the middle of city, as adding house plants can make you feel more in touch with nature. Don’t forget about the added benefits of improved air quality.
2. Coastal Design
What is more natural than the ocean? A coastal theme can be a great way to incorporate more nature into your home in a way that works well for people who are on a budget as well as people that are looking for a complete redesign.
Use blues, creams and sanded wood to create a beach like feeling that works well to brighten a room. The light colors and by-the-sea feeling are relaxing and a great way to decorate with natural elements.
3. Bold Leaf Prints
This is one of the hottest interior design trends of the moment. Bold leaf prints are popping up on statement cushions or on bed spreads across the country for a good reason. These bold prints help to add pops of color to rooms that are feeling a bit bland.
As a trend that is so popular right now, you can easily find a bold leaf print that fits in your home, no matter what your budget it. Use the print on a set of curtains to give your living room a jungle vibe or on some statement throw cushions in your bedroom.
4. Green and White
When it comes to nature inspired design, you can’t go wrong with a bit more green around the house. If you are looking for a color to match it with then you have to consider using white. These colors are such a great combo that will work for all kinds of rooms.
This color combination is especially great for rooms that don’t get a lot of light, as this decorating style can add a bigger and lighter and fresher feeling to the space.
5. Wooden Textures
You might think that you don’t have access to a lot of wood, but you don’t have to have a lot of wood handy to use this trend. You can get a wood like texture from plenty of materials and textiles that can be used to re-upholster furniture or used as a bed spread.
If you want to add a wooden texture to your walls, but don’t want the hassle of wood paneling, you can easily use wall paper to give a wooden feeling.
