Do you have any idea how much caffeine you are drinking each day?
For years, I drank cup after cup of coffee to stay energized and alert during endless
meetings and long hours at the office.
In college, I downed cup after cup to stay awake long enough to study for tests and
to complete reports.
I must admit, I craved that caffeine “jolt’!
I was never a soda drinker but my husband consumed can after of can of soda
each day.
After years of suffering from the hyperactive “highs” I experienced from drinking
too much coffee during the day–as well as the torture of too many sleepless nights–
I decided to decrease my coffee consumption.
Still addicted in a sense to that jolt of energy that caffeine provides, for the last few years
I have been drinking green tea and Yerba Mate for their reported health benefits, but they
are still significant sources of caffeine.
