This fresh, natural, herbal vinegar hair rinse is easy to make.
I prefer to buy rosemary and lavender directly from my local farmer’s market, so I know where and how it was grown.
And I love the fact that the rosemary and lavender water must be steeped in the warmth and energy of the sun for several hours.
The combination of the soft, floral, herbal scent of lavender with the heavier, stimulating scent of rosemary and just a small amount of vinegar, results in a relatively, light scent.
Rosemary Lavender Hair Rinse is designed to help:
- restore your hair’s natural pH balance
- remove built up dirt and hair products
- reduce hair oiliness
Now you can make it yours:
Rosemary Lavender Hair Rinse
Ingredients:
2 Sprigs of Rosemary
2 Sprigs of Lavender
2 Cups of Water (Preferably Distilled)
1-2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar or White Vinegar
Directions:
Place the 2 sprigs of rosemary and 2 sprigs of lavender in 2 cups of water in a clear glass jar.
Let the jar sit out in the sun to steep for between two and four hours, then remove the herbs.
Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of either apple cider vinegar or white vinegar to your water solution
Apply to your hair and scalp the same way you would use shampoo.

I planted some orgeano seeds and they sprouted fine but now they’re dying off, I don’t know what I did wrong. Lavender sounds good, I might try growing that too for the nice smells. My sister has a catnip plant growing on her balcony and her two cats go mad for the stuff. She picks a leaf and scrunches it up then drops it on the ground and they both start writhing around on it, it’s so cute!
