Let’s face it, eco-friendly home furnishings and accessories are not easy to find in most
retail home furnishing stores.
So when I saw these smart, recycled and upcycled home accessories at CB2 I was thrilled.
CB2 is a modern destination from Crate and Barrel that first opened in Chicago in the year 2000.
With 13 urban stores in Chicago, New York (SoHo and Eastside), San Francisco, Berkeley, LA,
Santa Monica, Miami, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis and international stores in
Toronto and Vancouver–CB2 makes it easier to find sustainable furniture and accessories that
are simple, modern, trendy and scaled for small and large spaces at affordable prices.
My Favorite Recycled Finds:
In addition to the fabulous “eco seat” pouf above, which is the perfect seating and occasional
table solution, I love these richly-textured, recycled rugs, pillows and wall pieces.

Doing Good is in their DNA
Among other charitable programs and partnerships, the CB2 “can do” food drive, their
Thanksgiving store tradition, fills the shelves of local food pantries while helping to
fulfill the basic needs of people in need.
More than Just a Pretty Pillow!
The beauty of buying eco-friendly, recycled furnishings is that they are better for the environment,
contribute to healthier indoor air quality in your home, and often conditions are improved for the
artisans, workers and the communities where they are crafted.
