Australia’s many islands are perfect spots to grow ripe and bountiful produce. If you’re looking to have the freshest lunch of your life, you can travel right to the islands to get it. Hop on one of the P&O Australia Cruises from Melbourne out to Kangaroo Island. When you get there, visit the giant farmer’s market.
Kangaroo Island is a great place for people who love to eat, and it’s an even better place for people who enjoy a plant based diet. You can even partake in a glass or two of the local boutique wine if you’re looking to reward yourself and let loose a little.
Relax in the Botanical Gardens
Every trip needs a little downtime. You and your darling can spend yours in one of Australia’s many botanical gardens. It’s a great way to feel in touch with the native plants and insects without disturbing the environment.

Australia provides all of its visitors with plenty of ways to get active, and many of the local eats are perfect picks for vegan or vegetarian visitors. Your trip will ultimately be what you make of it, so as long as you’re spending as much time as possible with your favorite companion, you’re sure to have the time of your life.
