Sure, I love to eat bowls and bowls of healthy, hearty vegetable salads for the nutritional
benefits–but I am sure you will agree that a fresh and tasty dressing makes a salad special.
I make all kinds of salad dressings, depending upon what ingredients I have on hand
in my kitchen.
Most of my dressings include an organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar such as my favorite
Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar due to its significant health benefits and tangy flavor.
In this recipe, apple cider vinegar is the acidic base for a rich, creamy sesame tahini and
turmeric dressing that elevates any salad to a higher level!
Turmeric is a powerful medicine that has long been used as an anti-inflammatory agent to
treat a wide variety of conditions, including flatulence, jaundice, menstrual difficulties, bloody
urine, hemorrhage, toothache, bruises, chest pain, and colic in the Chinese and Indian systems
A potent antioxidant–studies have linked the frequent use of turmeric to lower rates of breast,
prostate, lung and colon cancer.
Plus laboratory experiments have shown curcumin can prevent tumors from forming.
