The best part?
Dates and a touch of maple syrup add just enough sweetness without adding any refined sugar.
It is worth noting that dates offer a significant amount of fiber and variety of vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, B vitamins, copper, and magnesium.
And they are so easy to make.
Simply mix dates, cocoa powder, coconut flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt in your food processor, then roll into small balls.
Roll those balls onto your choice of delicious coatings: ground hazelnuts or almonds, coconut flakes, unsweetened cocoa powder and a little cayenne pepper and coarse salt.
Once coated, place your tasty truffles on a baking sheet with wax paper and place in the refrigerator to chill for several minutes before serving.
