Thank goodness it’s Saturday and already the fifth day of VeganMoFo 2015!
I love the tangy, creamy goodness of yogurt but it was hard to find a good vegan
So many of the vegan yogurts I found were loaded with sugar and unpleasant
additives that did not appeal to me, so when I finally found So Delicious brand
Unsweetened Plain Coconut Yogurt in my local Whole Foods, I jumped for joy
and bought out store!
I even saved the empty container and asked my local health food store manager
to start carrying this product.
Of course, my next step will be to start making my own coconut yogurt from

I have been devouring coconut yogurt each day with fresh, sliced strawberries,
mango, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries all summer, but today I decided
to make a smoothie with coconut yogurt for breakfast–and I’m so glad I did!
The results were awesome–with just the right amount of creaminess for a delicious
This smoothie really soothes my creamy cravings!
I also froze some of this smoothie to make vegan ice cream later.
Makes 2 servings
1 cup vegan unsweetened plain coconut yogurt
1 cup hemp milk
1 cup organic strawberries
1 cup pineapple chunks
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 large banana
Add ingredients to your high speed blender.
Blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
Pour into a glass or mason jar.
Drink up and enjoy!
