I love New York for so many amazing reasons but one of the best things about living
in New York City is the large number of raw, vegetarian, vegan and vegan-friendly
restaurants available to choose from.
It’s like living in “vegan heaven”.
Sure, I love to cook homemade, fresh, organic, plant-based meals.
However, when I am out and about and need to find some vegan eats, there is usually
a vegan-friendly spot within a few blocks where I can pop in for a healthy, hearty
and delicious meal.
In most cases, the food is fab and the folks are friendly.
Over the years, I have taken photos and written posts about some of my favorite vegan
restaurants in New York City, so in honor of fellow plant-passionate, VeganMoFo friends
worldwide, who are thinking about making a trip to the Big Apple, here are pics from a few
of my favorite vegan and vegan-friendly haunts in New York City.

So if you’re visiting New York, check them out.
You might find me sipping Kukicha tea and lingering over a Garden Roll and a Dragon Bowl
at Angelica Kitchen or slowly savoring a Tempeh Avocado Wrap at Blossom’s.
